The center has recently added a new technology building which houses a welding lab and other skills courses.

Jasper Independent School District
JISD is a 4A school district that serves approximately 3,100 students on five campuses. These include Few Primary School, Parnell Elementary School, Jasper Junior High School and Jasper High School.
The Jasper school district and all campuses received the highest academic rating possible from the state education agency in 2014, the latest year rated.
Jasper High School
Jasper High School, classified as a 3A public high school, serves about 700 students annually, taught by 58 full-time teachers. The athletic teams are the Jasper Bulldogs (State 3A baseball champions in 2007) and the Lady Bulldogs. Enrollment is 50 percent male, 50 percent female and 58 percent minority.
The latest edition of “Best High Schools in Texas” from US News & World Report awards Jasper High School a Bronze Medal.
Important extracurricular traditions include Future Farmers of America, One-Act Play and DECA, a career and technical student organization that seeks to prepare leaders and entrepreneurs.
