Quality educational opportunities at all levels of the learning are first class in Jasper. Where it's a prekindergartener just beginning or a college focused adult ready to hit the books, Jasper’s educational offerings make the grade. JISD serves approximately 3,160 students on five campuses. There are also two private schools located in Jasper.

Classes are currently underway at the new Jasper Higher Education and Technology Center. Angelina College in Lufkin, Texas has taken the lead in managing the educational center. Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, Texas, and Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, offer degree plans through the Bachelor and Master levels.  Vocational / Technical Programs can be set up to match the needs of local businesses and prepare individuals for companies locating to the Jasper area.
